Lessons in your home for your convenience. Either one-on-one or as a group.
Guiding you through breathing and postures dedicated to your ability and mobility.
Lesson style will vary depending on your needs but all will focus on supporting physical and emotional wellbeing.
Focuses can include; joint mobility, maintaining bone-density, flexibility, support during menstruation or menopause, managing stress or anxiety, and maintaining general health.

One-off classes can be utilised for an event or for learning tools to cope with life events, injury or periods of emotional turbulence.
Regular classes help to support and maintain physical and emotional wellbeing.

Community Classes - All Levels Yoga

Join me for a community class catering for all ages and abilities.
Each week we will explore a slightly different focus and associated series of postures. Hips, inversions, restorative, shoulders, heart openers, breathing muscles and techniques, twists - each will be explained as I lead you through the practice.

Each class will focus on alignment to generate the maximum benefits out of each posture. A simple guided breathing exercise or meditation will start each class.
Corporate Classes
On Request
I provide classes tailored to the corporate environment. I am available to teach classes on-site before work or during the lunch hour. One-off or regular sessions available.
Classes focus on:

breathing techniques to manage stress and anxiety

postures counteracting long hours spent at a desk or at a computer

strengthening and stretching postures to provide long-term support


Yoga for Climbers

Yoga is a tool which can be used to help improve a climbers ability. In Beta Yoga classes, we will use variations on traditional yoga postures to specifically target a climbers physique.
Areas of focus:

shoulder opening and mobility

movement and flexibility in the hip joint

releasing tension in the neck and body
-
releasing the pump in forearms
-
generally increasing flexibility and strength
-
techniques for warm-up and cool-down
-
harnessing the breath for improved performance
